What is Rigger Level 3?

Rigger Level 3 is the advanced, supervisory tier of rigging certification. Where Level 1 covers basic tasks under supervision and Level 2 builds independent competence on routine lifts, Level 3 is built for riggers who plan, lead and take responsibility for complex lifting operations, including tandem crane lifts and non-routine, critical lifts.

At EUTC Global, our Rigger Level 3 training covers rigging techniques, load balancing, sling configurations, equipment inspection, weight calculations and safe communication signals, everything a supervisor or lift planner is expected to know on a Saudi industrial site.

The Rigger Level 3 Course at EUTC Global

Our Rigger Level 3 course is a structured, hands-on programme for experienced riggers moving into supervisory or lift planning roles. Participants learn to inspect and select rigging equipment to the standards used on Aramco-aligned worksites, combining classroom theory with real lift planning practice.

On completion, participants receive a Rigger Level 3 certificate recognised across KSA's oil, gas and construction sectors, positioning them for leadership roles on major contractor and industrial projects.

Advanced Rigging Safety and Lifting Techniques

This course goes well past basic rigging fundamentals. Participants get hands-on practice selecting, using and inspecting rigging gear including slings, shackles, wire ropes and below-the-hook lifting devices. The curriculum also covers load handling procedures, weight estimation and safe signal communication to reduce risk during every lift.

Trainees leave ready to handle high-risk lifting tasks on real construction and oil and gas sites, with the skills to lead a rigging team, coordinate with the crane operator and manage a full lift plan with confidence.

Who Should Take the Rigger Level 3 Course?

This course fits professionals who already have a solid rigging foundation and are ready to move into supervisory or specialist roles. It is the right fit for:

  • Rigging supervisors and foremen overseeing complex lifting operations
  • Experienced riggers in oil and gas, construction or heavy machinery
  • Safety managers responsible for lifting compliance on industrial sites
  • Crane operators and lift planners seeking formal certification
  • Managers and operators of legal age aiming for higher-level rigging roles

Aligned with Aramco Rigger III and LEEA Standards

EUTC Global's Rigger Level 3 programme is built around the competency areas covered in Saudi Aramco's Rigger III certification path, which includes a written test and a hands-on performance test covering rigging, hoisting and crane hand signals. Our curriculum also aligns with LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) standards and general OSHA rigging guidance, so training holds up whether your team is heading into an Aramco-linked vendor assessment or a broader EPC contractor requirement.

If your organisation needs a specific accreditation body confirmed for a tender or vendor requirement, tell us on the quote form and we will confirm what applies to your project before you book.

Career Growth After Rigger Level 3 Certification

Rigger Level 3 certification opens the door to higher-paying roles across Saudi Arabia's industrial sector, including rigging supervisor positions, lift planner roles and crane coordination assignments. Pay varies by contractor, project and experience, so we would rather point you to your employer's pay scale or a current job posting than quote a number that will be out of date by the time you read this.

Whether you are aiming for a rigging supervisor title or a specialist lift planner role, this certification gives you the competency and the paperwork to take on demanding projects across KSA.
